Answering the call - Interfaith Climate Action Just one week ago on October 12th, 550 people assembled at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley to take part in Answering the Call: An Interfaith Gathering for Climate Action.”  The sanctuary overflowed as the crowd responded to the call to act on the existential and moral threat of climate change.

Work has begun to build a powerful new movement for spiritual and faith-based action on climate change. The first initiative of the MA Interfaith Coalition for Climate Action is Taking Our Call to the State House: A Legislative Action Day,” Tuesday, November 10th, 10 am to 1 pm (exact timing will depend on legislators). Answer the call as we head to the State House to speak to our legislators about the legislative priorities that we believe will help build a clean and just energy future in Massachusetts.  Please click here to sign up for November 10th and other activities.
There is much work to do and little time to waste. The first organizing meeting to plan and prepare for the November 10th Legislative Action Day will be this Wednesday, October 21–can you join us? If you would like to help engage your congregation or organization in this campaign, please come to Temple Beth Elohim this Wednesday, October 21, 7 pm to 9 pm at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley

Please stay tuned for more information on upcoming trainings. Thank you for answering the call!  (Amy Benjamin, Lise Olney, and the leadership of the MA Interfaith Coalition for Climate Action)
