The Massachusetts Legislature’s Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy (TUE) will hold a hearing on carbon pricing and utilities related bills on Tuesday, June 20th at the State House.

A committee hearing is the first step in moving a bill forward in the legislature. Every bill filed receives a hearing at which public testimony is taken. Seventeen bills will be heard on June 20th, including several bills establishing a price on carbon in Massachusetts.

The hearing will be held in the Gardner Auditorium of the Massachusetts State House beginning at 1:00 pm.
