Capitalism vs. the Climate. On Wednesday, February 24, at 7:00 P.M., in Babson College’s Carling-Sorenson ​Theater, New York Times bestselling author of This Changes Everything, Naomi Klein delivers a powerful lecture on the critical importance of addressing the free market economy in efforts to preserve the future of our planet. As a leading critic of corporate globalization, Klein will ask us to reflect on the connections between the market and the planet—and what roles we can play in creating a just, sustainable future for all. Presented in partnership with the Arts & Humanities, History & Society, Management, and Math & Science Divisions; The Center for Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership; the Office for Diversity and Inclusion; and the Sustainability Office.

Naomi will sign copies of her book immediately after the talk.

This event is free and open to the public. It is recommended to arrive early to select your seat.
