DESCRIPTION:A free showing of the film Food\, Inc. will take place at First Parish Church on Sunday\, March 13 at 7 p.m. The documentary\, made by award-winning director Robert Kenner\, examines America’s food production system\, revealing surprising and sometimes shocking aspects of how our food is produced. The film mixes animation and compelling graphics with interviews featuring food experts Michael Pollan (The Omnivore’s Dilemma) and Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation)\, as well as farmers and visionary entrepreneurs.  \nFollowing the film will be an update on the Needham Community Farm’s future plans to promote a sustainable local food system through hands-on farm-based education and community outreach.  \nThe Needham Community Farm joins First Parish and Green Needham Collaborative to cosponsor the film.
