SUMMARY:Let’s Talk About Solar: The RTS and Beyond
DESCRIPTION:Green Needham is sponsoring an informational session on the solar project at the Needham RTS\, as well as projects at homes and institutions around Town. \nCome hear how the project at the RTS (“the dump”) will soon start providing thirty percent of the electric power needed by Town facilities. The project will save money for the town and includes an education component. Learn about the how the system works\, how it affects the town and how we hope to use it as a tool for Needham’s students. \nWe will also hear lessons learned and success stories about solar projects on the rooftops of Needham homes and a Needham church. These projects also have been generating power for many Needhamites and there’s potential for even more. \nHave questions about the RTS project? Meet the people who helped make it a reality. \nCurious about solar for your home or business?
