SUMMARY:Volunteers Needed for Earth Day at Newman School
DESCRIPTION:Newman Earth Day 2010\nFriday\, April 16\nVolunteers Needed! \nThe New England Aquarium is coming to Newman for Earth Day!  This year’s Earth Day theme is water\, so we’ve invited the Aquarium to bring its “Whale Day Program” to our school.  The program consists of 12 interactive exhibits about whales and other marine animals\, as well as a 16-foot high\, 42-foot long life-size inflatable right whale called Calvin.  The program will be set up on the tennis courts (weather permitting)\, which will be transformed into a colorful “Newman Ocean!” \nThe Newman Earth Day Committee is planning an amazing day for our children but\, we need you to “dive in” and make this a success!  Each station of the exhibit requires adult supervision.  We need a minimum of 24 volunteers (at least 12 per shift) to cover the following two shifts: \nShift 1: 8:30am to 12:00pm\nShift 2: 11:30am to 3:00pm \nIf you are able to help on Earth Day\, please e-mail Stacey Fallon at staceymcfallon@yahoo.com and let us know your availability. \nThank you!\nThe Newman Earth Day Committee
