SUMMARY:The Problem with Plastic

Since attending Judith Enck’s class on plastic pollution\, she has become eager to educate people about the negative impact that plastic has on the environment and personal health\, while encouraging citizens to take an active role in reducing plastic production and consumption. She is a member of Green Needham’s Plastic Reduction Team and is currently working to pass a plastic bag ban bylaw in the town. \nKathy has a BS from Tufts University and a MS in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. She works with various non-profit organizations as an HR Consultant. She lives in Needham\, MA with her husband and their two daughters.
