The organization sponsors events, has an online forum, and is working on updating and implementing Needham\u2019s bike plan, which was developed in 2000. They also support the Bay Colony Rail Trail project.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baycolonyrailtrail.org\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bay Colony Rail Trail project<\/a> is working on creating a 7-mile long walking\/biking path through beautiful conservation land and over the Charles River. In May, 2016 a 1.7 mile section of the path officially opened, extending from the Town Forest to Red Wing Bay. Both Needham Bikes and the Bay Colony Rail Trail project welcome volunteers and supporters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Do you have a bike to give away or to trade in?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bikesnotbombs.org\/\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BIKES NOT BOMBS<\/a> accepts all kinds of bicycles, even if they are not in working condition, as long as they are not extensively rusted from being outside for long periods. Also accepts bicycle parts, equipment such as helmets, and bicycle clothing. Their <a href=\"https:\/\/bikesnotbombs.org\/bike-recycling\/?_gl=1*6vumeh*_ga*MTgyODI0NDkwMi4xNjg3NzI3ODE1*_ga_9PVCXFL36V*MTY4NzcyNzgxNC4xLjEuMTY4NzcyNzg1Ny4wLjAuMA..&amp;_ga=2.13654975.963637388.1687727815-1828244902.1687727815\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> specifies where and when donations may be dropped off, including bike drives and other drop-off points.\u00a0 284 Amory St. Jamaica Plain, MA\u00a0 02130;\u00a0 \u00a0(617) 522-0222<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dedhambike.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DEDHAM BIKE<\/a>, 403 Washington St., Dedham, sells bikes and offers bike repair and maintenance. They offer trade-ins on a case by case basis\u00a0 for &#8220;bike shop quality&#8221; bicycles. They also sell used bikes. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dedhambike.com\/about\/used-bikes-pg324.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See details<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PLEASE NOTE:<\/strong> \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boston.gov\/departments\/boston-bikes\/roll-it-forward\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ROLL IT FORWARD<\/a> , which was offered by the Boston Transportation Dept&#8217;s Boston Bikes program, has ended.
