For a recycling fee of $29.99 (price as of 2023), household residents can bring in portable TVs, tube TVs smaller than 32 inches, and flat panel\/LCD\/plasma\/LED TVs smaller than 50 inches, with limit of 2 items per household per day. Pick up of larger TVs can be arranged for a $39.99 fee when a replacement product is delivered by Geek Squad or Best Buy Home Delivery. Stand-alone pickup and recycling of 2 large products (including TVs), along with an unlimited number of select smaller products is $199.99. See details<\/a>. RTS Needham<\/a><\/h4>\n

Needham residents with an RTS sticker may bring any size TV to the RTS North Area <\/a>\u2013 ($20 fee in 2023).<\/p>\n

<\/a>Thermometers\/ Thermostats (Mercury) (updated 2\/2023)
\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n

State regulations prohibit the disposal as trash of any device containing mercury. <\/strong><\/p>\n

RTS Needham<\/a><\/h4>\n

Residents with an RTS sticker may bring mercury thermometers and other mercury containing batteries and devices to the Needham RTS Universal Waste Shed<\/strong> near the electronics and scrap metal areas.<\/p>\n

Needham Health Department<\/a><\/h4>\n

781-455-7940, located \u00a0in the Rosemary Recreation Complex at 178 Rosemary St., also accepts mercury thermometers, thermostats and mercury button batteries.<\/p>\n

Accepts earned marathon, half-marathon, and triathalon medals from athletes (adults and children). A worldwide network of physicians and volunteers then awards these medals attached to a Medals4Mettle ribbon to children and adults fighting debilitating illnesses who might not be able to run a race, but are in a race of their own just to continue to live their life.<\/p>\n
