High School Students in Needham – here’s a great way to advocate for change and possibly win $500!”\"\"<\/a>
\n<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Two important reports on climate change were recently released: the\u00a0United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Special Report<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0US National\u00a0Climate Assessment<\/a>.\u00a0 Together, these reports sound the loudest alarm yet that devastating climate change is happening now<\/strong> and will continue to worsen<\/strong> without immediate, large-scale action.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The League of Women Voters<\/a> has fought hard for climate action since the 1960s, and we continue the fight now.\u00a0 To help keep climate action at the top of the agenda, WE NEED YOU<\/em> <\/span>to create 30-second videos that highlight one aspect of climate change and suggest a solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The League will use your videos to help educate the public and elected officials about the dire threat of climate change. And you<\/em> <\/span>could win a cash prize!<\/strong><\/p>\n
