The money will help fund a brass plaque which will honor local businesses which cut their energy use by at least 10%, as well as organizations, businesses, schools, and houses of worship which get at least 30% of their members or employees to take Green Needham\u2019s 10% Energy Challenge.<\/p>\n<p id=none>Citing the \u201cexcellent nature of the overall campaign,\u201d the Wolfe-Rita Fund chose Green Needham as one of their three grantees. The brass plaque is the centerpiece of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/2011\/01\/needham-1000-update\/\"><em>Needham 1,0<\/em>00 campaign<\/a>, a project that aims to get 1,000 households to take the 10% Energy Challenge, an interactive online tool that enables users to make a personal plan to reduce their energy use.
