This project includes installing EV charging stations to incentivize driving electric. Plus, the Kraft Sports Group underwent a lighting system renovation, installing LED lighting and advanced controls that both enhance the fan experience and qualify the stadium for $100,000 in National Grid Incentives. Even ol\u2019 Bill Belichick himself would have to crack a smile at those savings.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><\/h3>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\">NFL Stadiums Are Going Solar<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">According to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seia.org\/news\/new-data-shows-professional-sports-teams-are-going-solar-rapid-rate\">Solar Energy Industries Association<\/a>, \u201c46 megawatts (MW) of solar capacity are operating at 37 professional sports facilities nationwide.\u201d Take\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/eere\/articles\/5-nfl-football-stadiums-score-big-efficiency\">Lincoln Stadium in Philadelphia<\/a>\u00a0for example \u2014 the renewable energy capacity installed on the stadium itself can harness enough free, renewable energy in one day to power two homes for an entire year.
