<\/a>With Massachusetts setting ambitious goals and legally binding targets to drastically cut carbon emissions by 2030 – on the way to zero net emissions by 2050 to avoid the worst effects of climate change – cities and towns must participate in this work to ensure success. The next five to ten years are critical if we are to tackle the climate crisis and make the transition to a zero net carbon economy and a more prosperous future.<\/p>\n
