According to the Town&#8217;s newsletter, Needham&#8217;s Municipal Aggregation Plan was submitted on February 2, 2024 to the Mass. Department of Public Utilities for approval. On <strong>Thursday, March 14th at 2 p.m<\/strong>. the Department will hold a virtual public hearing to receive comments on the Plan.<\/p>\n<p>This hearing is the first step in the review process by the state Department of Public Utilities. The link below gives information about accessing the hearing and outlines procedures for submitting comments via Zoom or by email.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/needhamma.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=713dda0f2d48ad06984d25f79&amp;id=8545d3d93f&amp;e=a9412e67ac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">March 14th Public Hearing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Green Needham, in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Needham and Mothers Out Front Needham, has long supported municipal energy aggregation.
