Two Town Committees – the Tree Preservation Planning Committee (TPPC)<\/a> and the Large House Review Committee (LHRC)<\/a> – are hosting public listening sessions next week on topics with very visible and substantive impacts on our community’s sustainability. The Town described the upcoming public meetings in the May 23 edition of The News You Need(ham):<\/em><\/p>\n

Tree Preservation Planning Committee Public Listening Session to be Held on June 4th<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u00a0The Town recently launched a Tree Preservation Planning Committee<\/strong><\/a> and wants to hear from you! What questions, ideas, or concerns do you have about trees in Needham? What do you want the Committee to know or keep in mind as they begin their work?<\/p>\n

Join them to share your thoughts at a Public Listening Session on Wednesday, June 4th at 7 pm<\/strong> in Powers Hall in Needham Town Hall and via Zoom. The Zoom link can be found on the Town\u2019s website by clicking the button below.<\/p>\n

Large House Review Committee to Host Public Input Meeting on June 9th<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

\"\"<\/a>On June 9th at 7 pm<\/strong>, the Large House Review Committee<\/strong><\/a> (LHRC) will be hosting a Public Input Meeting in Powers Hall in Needham Town Hall and via Zoom to solicit feedback from thecommunity. The purpose of this meeting is for LHRC to provide an outline of the work that the Committee has completed to date and to hold a public comment period and listening session.<\/p>\n

The Committee hopes to learn more about residents\u2019 feedback on the large house teardown issue and whether the community believes the Town should be more aggressively regulating\/moderating house size than it currently does.
