{"id":1928,"date":"2012-02-03T12:07:43","date_gmt":"2012-02-03T17:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/?p=1928"},"modified":"2012-04-23T09:05:48","modified_gmt":"2012-04-23T13:05:48","slug":"recognizing-needham-businesses-for-energy-efficiency","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/2012\/02\/recognizing-needham-businesses-for-energy-efficiency\/","title":{"rendered":"Recognizing Needham businesses for energy efficiency"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Green Needham would like to recognize <strong>local businesses that have taken measures to cut their energy use<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>In early 2012 Green Needham will commission a brass plaque to commemorate the community groups and organizations that have contributed to making Needham a more sustainable community by getting their members to take the 10% Challenge to reduce their own energy use. <\/p>\n<p>Local businesses that have been leaders in lowering their energy use through conservation, participation in  utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs, or other measures will also be recognized on the plaque.  <strong>If your business has made a commitment to reducing energy use, or if you would like to find out more about energy efficiency programs and rebates for businesses<\/strong>, please contact Green Needham at info@greenneedham.org.
