Please don&#8217;t throw them in the trash! For the month of <strong>January<\/strong>, there will be collection boxes at the Needham Public Library for recycling <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>used strings of holiday lights and extension cords<\/strong><\/span> (working or broken). Collections are in conjunction with Zoo New England, which will use the recycling proceeds to support programs that protect lions and their habitats. Any used small electronics (cell phones, tablets, digital watches, adapters, chargers, MP3 players, hand-held game systems) can be turned in for recycling to help save Gorilla Habitats. Collection boxes will be in the Needham Public Library for the <strong>month of January.<\/strong> (Please no laptops, monitors, DVD players, calculators&#8211;these can be r<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/recyclopedia\/rc-e\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ecycled elsewhere<\/a>.)\u00a0 Collections are in conjunction with Zoo New England.
