\"\"<\/a>Frustrated by broken and\/or damaged household items which are costly to replace or have sentimental value?\u00a0 We usually just throw these items away, but repairing instead is a great alternative because it extends product life and reduces demand for new products, thereby reducing waste and saving you money.\u00a0 Also, supporting a circular economy that values repair and re-use promotes the Town\u2019s sustainability goals by conserving resources.\u00a0 And you might even restore a family treasure!<\/p>\n

The town of Needham is hosting their second Fixit Clinic on Saturday, November 14 from 10 am-2 pm<\/strong> in the Community Room of the Needham Free Public Library.\u00a0 Below is a list of\u00a0 the repair “categories.”\u00a0 There is no charge, but you must complete an online registration form,<\/a> where you will select a repair category and an available time slot.\u00a0 Then you just show up at the library with your item 5-10 minutes before your scheduled repair appointment, and a volunteer will discuss your issue, diagnose the problem, and hopefully repair it!<\/p>\n
