As reported in our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/2010\/03\/massachusetts-appliance-rebates-an-even-shorter-window\/\">March 11th post<\/a>, these rebates will only be available from April 22nd &#8211; May 5th.  Here are the details:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible appliances and rebates<\/strong> (click on the appliance type to see the list of eligible models):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/residential\/lighting-and-appliances\/get-the-facts\/the-great-appliance-exchange\/~\/media\/Files\/Residential\/Great%20Appliance%20Exchange\/DishwasherQualifyingProductList_03-22-10_pdf.ashx\" target=\"_blank\">Dishwashers<\/a> &#8211; $250<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/residential\/lighting-and-appliances\/get-the-facts\/the-great-appliance-exchange\/~\/media\/Files\/Residential\/Great%20Appliance%20Exchange\/RefrigeratorQualifyingProductList_03-22-10_pdf.ashx\" target=\"_blank\">Refrigerators<\/a> &#8211; $200<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/residential\/lighting-and-appliances\/get-the-facts\/the-great-appliance-exchange\/~\/media\/Files\/Residential\/Great%20Appliance%20Exchange\/ClotheswasherQualifyingProductList_03-22-10_pdf.ashx\" target=\"_blank\">Clothes Washers<\/a> &#8211; $175<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/residential\/lighting-and-appliances\/get-the-facts\/the-great-appliance-exchange\/~\/media\/Files\/Residential\/Great%20Appliance%20Exchange\/FreezerQualifyingProductList_03-22-10_pdf.ashx\" target=\"_blank\">Freezers<\/a> &#8211; $50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are permitted to get one rebate in each category.  Additionally, refrigerators and freezers qualify for an additional $50 Energy Star rebate through NStar &#8211; use <a href='http:\/\/www.greenneedham.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/NStar-fridge-and-freezer-rebate-form.pdf'>this rebate form<\/a> for the NStar rebate.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>To get the rebates<\/strong>, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Get a reservation number &#8211; starting on <em>April 22nd<\/em> online at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/gax\">Great Appliance Exchange<\/a> web siteor by calling 1\u2010877\u2010MA SWAP<\/li>\n<li>Purchase the appliances at qualifying retailer &#8211; nearby retailers include Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowe&#8217;s and Sears, along with Poirier Appliance in Newton and Jarvis Appliance in Wellesley.  The list will be updated and can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/residential\/lighting-and-appliances\/get-the-facts\/the-great-appliance-exchange\/~\/media\/Files\/Residential\/Great%20Appliance%20Exchange\/Certified%20Retailers%20List_03292010_PDF.ashx\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>You will be required to turn in the appliance being replaced<\/li>\n<li>Fill in and submit the rebate form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Information for the program is also available at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.masssave.com\/gax\">Great Appliance Exchange web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Don&#8217;t miss the short window to get stimulus-funded $50 &#8211; $250 rebates on appliances this April.
