Fresh Produce, Live Music, and Art for Kids at the Needham Farmers Market<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This Sunday, September 28<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span>, Needham Farmers Market will have a wide variety of fresh produce. <\/span>The Neighborhood Farm’s<\/span>\u00a0featured produce includes 25 varieties of garlic, onions (cippolini, red, gold, and white), alliums, pears and apples from Cold Spring\u00a0Orchard. MacArthur Farm’s featured produce is corn (Mac special $3 for 14 ears), winter squash, apples (Carlson, Lookout, and Brookdale Fruit Farms), broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, romano beans, green beans, Yukon and gold potatoes, and 8″ mums (3 for $10). Both farms have a large selection of produce including heirloom tomatoes.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Farmer\u2019s Market Jazz Band is this week\u2019s featured live musical performance sponsored by Not Your Average Joe\u2019s Kitchen and Bar Needham.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This week\u2019s \u201cArt for Kids\u201d event is hosted by <\/span>Sheryl Scipione and will involve kids in the fun of making watercolors. The market will also feature two local artists, Tonya Grace and Barbara Levitov, who will both be showcasing and selling their work. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our vendors are MacArthur Farm, The Neighborhood Farm, Globe Fish, Lilac Hedge, Fundamentally Nuts, Fior d\u2019Italia, and Uyghur Bread.<\/span><\/p>\n

Needham Farmers Market, sponsored by Needham Bank, opens at\u00a012 p.m.\u00a0<\/span>and closes at<\/span>\u00a04 p.m.<\/span>, every<\/span>\u00a0Sunday\u00a0<\/span>through Nov. 23<\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup>.
