This coming Tuesday, March 15th,<\/strong> Green Needham<\/strong><\/em> is sponsoring an informational session on the solar project<\/strong> <\/em>at the Needham RTS<\/strong><\/em>, as well as projects<\/strong> <\/em>at homes and institutions around Town. <\/strong><\/em>at 7:30 pm <\/strong><\/em>at the Broadmeadow School’s auditorium<\/em><\/strong>.\"Needham<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Come hear how the project at the RTS (\u201cthe dump\u201d) will soon start providing thirty percent<\/strong><\/em> of the electric power needed by Town facilities. The project will save money<\/strong> <\/em>for the town and includes an education component<\/strong><\/em>. Learn about the how the system works, how it affects the town and how we hope to use it as a tool for Needham\u2019s students.<\/p>\n

We will also hear lessons learned and success stories about solar projects<\/strong> <\/em>on the rooftops of Needham homes and a Needham church. These projects also have been generating power for many Needhamites and there\u2019s potential<\/strong> <\/em>for even more.<\/p>\n
