This annual event aims to raise public awareness.\u00a0Many people may not realize that energy efficiency is one of the best ways to address climate change. In fact, with robust action, research shows that\u00a0efficiency can get the United States halfway toward its climate goals<\/span><\/strong>. (Plus it saves money, \u00a0creates jobs, cleans the air we breathe, and enjoys bipartisan support.)<\/span><\/p>\n

Last year,\u00a0more than 350<\/a>\u00a0organizations, companies, utilities, and local governments signed on as supporters, and\u00a059 cities, counties, states, and universities<\/a>\u00a0joined the U.S. Senate in issuing proclamations. We want to build on that record.<\/span><\/p>\n
