Author, educator and environmentalist Bill McKibben<\/strong> will be speaking in Weston on March 25th as the featured speaker at the annual Harnish Lecture. Bill’s topic will be a report from the front lines of the climate fight – “A few jailhouse notes on what we still can do”.<\/p>\n

The Harnish lecture is presented by the Environmental Action Group of The Congregational Church of Weston, UCC. The lecture will be held at Weston High School<\/strong>, 444 Wellesley St. in Weston at 3:00 pm<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Bill McKibben<\/a> is the author of a dozen books about the environment, beginning with The End of Nature in 1989, which is regarded as the first book for a general audience on climate change. He is a founder of the grassroots climate campaign 350.org<\/a>, which has coordinated 15,000 rallies in 189 countries since 2009. <\/p>\n
