According to the Climate Reality Project, a national environmental organization, to avoid the worst impacts of climate change, global rise in temperatures must be kept to under 2 degrees Celsius, yet global temperatures are on a pace to rise by 4 degrees Celsius by 2100.  Climate change is one of the most important issues we face.  To learn or review the basics of climate change, what the risks are and what we can do about it, join us on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Needham Public Library Community Room for a Climate Reality Project presentation, to be given by Quentin Prideaux, a representative fro the Climate Reality Project.  After the presentation, enjoy light refreshments and visit educational tables we will have set up in the room.  This program is co-sponsored by Green Needham Collaborative and the Needham League of Women Voters.
