 1:30-4:00 at the Needham home of Tyson and Yasmine King – see a “Live” demo of their home’s Solar System and other energy saving technologies (33 Lakin Street)
Tyson and Yasmine’s home is also equipped with some of the most advanced energy monitoring systems. Their home is integrated with smart devices on their appliances and other electrical devices, giving them total command of the thermostat, locks, lights and more from a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Their home’s thermostat and lights also turn on when needed, and off when not needed. So in a simplified effort to be energy efficient yet maintain optimum comfort, the system will not only display solar power generation, but will also profile how/where all of the energy is used inside the home.
