On October 7th at noon, Safe Streets Needham is partnering with WalkMassachusetts to run a walk audit of Needham Center. The purpose of the walk audit is to document current conditions of the area, such as dangerous intersections and broken sidewalks. After the audit WalkMassachusetts will help compile the group’s observations into a summary report with recommendations, which we plan to share with the Town and DPW afterward.
