Two important community meetings are coming up next week.

The Large House Review Study Committee will hold its final Community Meeting on Tuesday, November 18 at 7 p.m. in Powers Hall (Town Hall) and on Zoom.  The committee will present the results of the Financial Analysis performed by their consultant.  This analysis quantifies the financial impact on home sale values and town tax receipts associated with a reduction in the size of large houses built on small lots.  There will also be an update on the comparisons between various towns and Needham regarding the size of homes allowed in these different towns.

The meeting will have a Q&A session to answer residents questions. The committee will make their final recommendations to the Planning board on December 16, 2025.  Recommendations by the Planning board will be voted on at the Spring 2026 Town Meeting.
