WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE? – EATING LOCALLY

April 8, 2014 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$35

Eating local food, produced close home is fun, healthy, and good for the environment. It is also good for local farmers and the local economy, and helps maintain our beautiful farm landscapes. It can also be challenging, especially after the local Farmer’s Markets close for the season. Join us to learn the many ways in which you can fill your pantry with good food – grown close to home – year-round from an instructor who has been a practicing locavore for 10 years.

Babette Wils, Instructor

*The Needham Community Farm is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to deepening our community’s connection to nature and the food system by providing farm-based education, increasing access to healthy produce, and encouraging environmental stewardship. Learn more at www.needhamfarm.org
