Heat pump system, also known as ductless mini splits, can provide a more cost effective and energy efficient way to heat and cool a home than traditional heating systems. They can be especially attractive to homeowners with oil or electric heating systems.

Pioneered in Japan, where energy costs are high and minimizing direct use of fossil fuels is essential, these systems make very efficient use of electricity to provide heating and cooling. The Mass Save program supports this technology with rebates through its Cool Smart program for qualified installations in 2014.

Please join us on Thursday evening, February 13th, as Green Needham hosts a presentation on these systems by HVAC professionals from Mitsubishi and Next Step Living. Details and RSVP information here.
