The Needham Times’ Earth Day editorial,  “Earth Day kudos to Needham people” highlighted some of the accomplishments and efforts underway to make Needham a greener and more sustainable community.   It was gracious of the Times to open with Green Needham’s EPA Environmental Merit Award, but the real story – of the editorial, the EPA award and of Green Needham itself – is the many individuals and groups in the community who are now engaged in making Needham a more sustainable community.  North Hill, First Parish and the Newman and Eliot Schools are just some of the success stories in Needham.

Working together – the “collaborative” in Green Needham Collaborative – is how we as a community knit together these efforts, sharing resources and expertise, and leveraging and celebrating our successes.   You’ll find some of those stories on our web page and blog.  And there’s much more to come.  If you, your organization or your business are working on something and are not already connected with Green Needham, please contact us.  The results of our collective efforts are multiplied when we work together.
