Solarize Needham officially ended on June 30th with contracts signed for 99 new solar PV systems in Needham. Congratulations to Solar Coach Artie Crocker, a member of Green Needham’s Steering Committee, for the energy and commitment he brought to this successful collaboration among Astrum Solar, the Town of Needham and Green Needham.
Astrum Solar has extended Solarize Needham’s special pricing through the end of July to accommodate the over 120 homeowners still working through the process of receiving and evaluating proposals, so the total number of systems to be installed will certainly increase. Green Needham will continue its collaboration with Astrum Solar to ensure that as many Needham residents as possible can take advantage of the benefits of installing solar PV on their homes.
